Programme for Victim Assistance Experts

WEDNESDAY 7 OCTOBER 

Field visit

Kukes Regional Hospital

Participants will visit the new prosthetic workshop, physiotherapy unit, surgical unit and x-ray equipment provided under various projects to Kukes Regional Hospital, in support of mine survivors and other people in need.

Presentations/briefings will be made by the Albanian Mine Action Executive, the non-governmental organisation ALB-AID and representatives from the local/district authorities on mine clearance, victim assistance and other related activities in the region. The participants will have the chance to see displays and demonstrations of mine survivors’ works.
